Nesa is a new toy on the market with a younger demographic. Nesa stands for, “Next Evolutionary Step: Aquatic”. The character was originally hand-illustrated, and then digitally illustrated using Adobe Photoshop. The design was then taken into Adobe Dimension to achieve a 3D look. By creating the design in various programs, I was able to show how well the character translates from 2D to 3D form. Design nuances were taken from the main illustration into a fun typographical namesake treatment.
